The Druids - AWEN

Druidry is another of the world's great mystical traditions and modern druids use a number of metaphysical tools to connect to the divine.
The symbol above is the Awen. Awen is Welsh for poetic inspiration and is used to describe the divine inspiration of the bards.
According to the Order of Bards Ovates and Druids, the world's largest educational course based Druid order, the three lines represent rays emanating from three points of light. These points in turn represent the three aspects of deity and the points at which the sun rises during the equinoxes and winter and summer solstices. The three surrounding circles represent the three circles of creation.

Chanting Awen connects you directly to the source and if chanted correctly resinates through all of the subtle body's chakras balancing and replenishing the entire energy system.
To chant the AWEN sit comfortably and chant as follows.
AR 0 WEN
Chant slowly merging the syllables together rolling them round your mouth.
You can chant the Awen on your own but if you do so in a group it creates a magical atmosphere with harmonies and harmonics resinating around your sacred space.
We highly recommend chanting the Awen in a wood, next to a giant oak or in any solitary space in nature. Druids connect to source through and with a reverence to nature. It is one of the most natural and beautiful ways to meditate and develop your spiritual awareness.
